Research Assistant Co-op
Tommy is a fourth-year Northeastern student pursuing a combined BSME in mechanical engineering and history. Prior to beginning his undergraduate research internship at DIBI, he completed a co-op at the Kostas Research Institute (KRI) Cold Spray Lab where he contributed to novel research into wire arc and cold spray advanced manufacturing techniques in support of NAVSEA and ARL initiatives. He previously interned at a Southern California charter airline carrying out aircraft maintenance, repair, and overhaul, and spent a semester at University College Dublin in Ireland as part of the NUin program. When not at work, Tommy enjoys reading about history, flying airplanes, and playing the accordion.
