Team

Rapid Solution Teams

Our Rapid Solution Teams will validate and recommend ways to rapidly replicate innovations and best practices. We will identify and sponsor small, agile groups of researchers from universities and research institutes to provide expert assessments of feasibility and scalability. Over six to nine months, the team will embrace a participatory process to get early feedback and to engage key stakeholders on findings and recommendations.

A research team is evaluating a new way for higher education institutions to facilitate community engagement in scaling the recruitment and retention of new shipyard workers. 

Strengthening submarine manufacturing capacity

A research team is evaluating how a novel private investment fund could bolster federal funding to expand shipyard capacity in Mobile, Alabama, for submarine module manufacturing.
