
Amaal Ahmed
Graduate Research Assistant – Public Policy
Amaal is currently pursing a Master’s degree in International Relations and Global Studies at Northeastern University. She received a BA from American University in the same field. Over the past four years, she has developed a strong background in nonprofit, advocacy, and research work across local and international organizations. Amaal has worked with the International Association for Political Science Students (IAPSS), EuroMed Rights in Brussels, and The Boston Foundation, where she contributed to human rights advocacy initiatives, policy engagement, and research. This past winter, she completed a fellowship with the Massachusetts Voter Table as a Member Mobilization fellow, in which she assisted in civic engagement and voter education initiatives. Amaal aspires to establish a career in international affairs and diplomacy, where she hopes to promote policies and partnerships that fortify democratic institutions and global cooperation.
