Crystal Shamblee

Research Program Manager

Crystal is the Research Program Manager for the Defense Industrial Base Institute (DIBI). She is responsible for program management duties associated with the Air Force Organize Industrial Base (OIB) project. She brings over 18 years of experience in higher education and government innovation, leveraging human-centered design principles in both strategy and planning. Throughout her career, Crystal has engaged a diverse audience of stakeholders focused on operational management, leadership development, and program excellence.  

Crystal holds an MFA in Fashion Design from the Savannah College of Art & Design. She also earned a BS in Textile and Apparel Management from North Carolina State University.
