
Jacob Kolton
Undergraduate Research Assistant
Jacob Kolton is a third-year Northeastern student pursuing a B.S. in International Affairs and currently serving as an Undergraduate Research Assistant with DIBI. In previous roles, Jacob has contributed to various research initiatives at the National War College, chiefly focused on deterring adversarial threats to critical undersea infrastructure in the Baltic Area of Operations. Most recently, Jacob worked with Cornerstone Government Affairs as a Policy Intern, where he gained expertise in the Congressional appropriations process and supported an array of client government relations efforts from semiconductor manufacturing to shipbuilding. During his time at Northeastern, he founded the campus chapter of the Alexander Hamilton Society, which seeks to provide students with an engaging forum to discuss emerging foreign and national security issues while hosting speaker events with a range of professionals and respective field-experts. Jacob has spent time living in Jerusalem, where he deepened his understanding of regional dynamics, and has also spent a semester in Berlin as part of the N.U.in Program.
