Shawn Tribuce

Shawn Tribuce is a Data Analyst at the Defense Industrial Base Institute (DIBI) at Northeastern University, where he applies his background in data science and economics to support the institute’s research and analytical work. Shawn is a third-year Data Science and Economics student at Northeastern University with a knack for turning messy data into something actually useful. He is a Torch Scholar, serves on the Economics E-Board, volunteers with NU ACES community service. His independent work includes an AI-powered tool built to help Black students navigate safety and inclusion questions while studying abroad, a project inspired by his own experience in a Dialogue of Civilizations program in Brazil. Shawn has worked as a Machine Learning Data Associate at Amazon, applying his interest in data and technology in an applied, real-world setting. Fun fact: He once built an entire data pipeline just to prove a point in an argument — and was still wrong.
