Srinivas Tadigadapa

Srinivas Tadigadapa, Ph.D. is a Professor of Electrical and Computer Engineering at Northeastern University in Boston. His research centers on the design and fabrication of micro- and nano-sensors and actuators through heterogeneous materials integration and the exploration of quantum effects at interfaces.

He has received funding from NSF, NIH, ARO, DARPA, and industry partners; published approximately 200 peer-reviewed papers and five book chapters; and holds 11 patents, with two pending.

Dr. Tadigadapa is a Fellow of the IEEE and the Institute of Physics, a Life Fellow of the Cambridge Philosophical Society, and a Senior Member of the National Academy of Inventors. He has received the IEEE Sensors Council Meritorious Service Award, the Alexander von Humboldt Fellowship, and the Walton Fellowship.

He is the founding Editor-in-Chief of IEEE Sensors Letters and currently serves as President-Elect of the IEEE Sensors Council. Formerly a faculty member at Penn State, he joined Northeastern in 2018 as Chair of Electrical and Computer Engineering and was appointed Senior Vice Provost for Institutes, Centers, and Impact Engines in 2023.
